Huge well done to Conor Caslin on completeting the Dublin Half Marathon on behalf of Ataxia Foundation Ireland and FARA Ireland.

This year Errigal are proud to continue their fundraising efforts in support of Ataxia Foundation Ireland. At the start of 2023, six members of the Errigal team volunteered to take on one of the toughest endurance cycle challenges in Ireland, The Donegal Ultra 555 https://www.donegalultra555.com. The team has been training hard since the new year to take part in the 555km Wild Atlantic Way cycle which takes place on Friday 11th August 2023. A live tracker will be available to track the progress of the team as they battle their way through the rugged but beautiful terrain of Donegal.
In true Errigal spirit, the team organised and held a fundraising event at their head office in Co. Monaghan on Friday 28th July, with a few familiar faces from the GAA circle and previous Donegal 555 winners in attendance. There was a lot of cheer and fun had on the day in support of the team of cyclists and Ataxia Foundation Ireland.

This began durning covid in 2021. Walk, Roll, Stroll proved very popular with members and society as a whole, givening people and excuse to get outside in the fresh air for excerise and do something positive for a charity. Naturally members became competitive and both money targets and distances increased. Event happening every year, thanks to all who participated in 2022 |

Each year International Ataxia Awareness Day occurs on September 25th. AFI encourage our members to hold coffee mornings in their local area to promote awareness for all Ataxias and raise much needed funds for our charity. |
In previous years our brave members, volunteers and friends took part in Jump from the Sky for Afi fundraising to promote awareness for Ataxia in a fun and heart pumping way. This event was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended on the day.
