Errigal Contracts founded by Damien Treanor and Cormac McCloskey have become a leading support for AFI.
In 2018 and again in 2022 they held a Gala Ball to raise significant funds for AFI. Damien has a very personal interest in helping people with ataxia and together the whole team at Errigal get involved in fundraising for AFI.
AFI are immensely greatful for the involvement, support and kindness they show our charity and for the awarness they generate for ataxia through their fundraising endevers.
We look forward to collaborating with them in the near future.
This year Errigal are proud to continue their fundraising efforts in support of Ataxia Foundation Ireland. At the start of 2023, six members of the Errigal team volunteered to take on one of the toughest endurance cycle challenges in Ireland, The Donegal Ultra 555 https://www.donegalultra555.com. The team has been training hard since the new year to take part in the 555km Wild Atlantic Way cycle which takes place on Friday 11th August 2023. A live tracker will be available to track the progress of the team as they battle their way through the rugged but beautiful terrain of Donegal.
In true Errigal spirit, the team organised and held a fundraising event at their head office in Co. Monaghan on Friday 28th July, with a few familiar faces from the GAA circle and previous Donegal 555 winners in attendance. There was a lot of cheer and fun had on the day in support of the team of cyclists and Ataxia Foundation Ireland.
Donations can still be made on the Errigal Donegal 555 Go Fund me page and are much appreciated:https://gofund.me/c161461d
