Errigal Contracts founded by Damien Treanor and Cormac McCloskey have become a leading support for Ataxia Foundation Ireland (AFI)
In 2018 and again in 2022, they held a Gala Ball to raise significant funds for AFI. Damien has a very personal interest in helping people with ataxia and together the whole team at Errigal get involved in fundraising for AFI.
Ataxia Foundation Ireland are immensely grateful for their involvement, support and kindness they show our charity and for the awareness they generate for ataxia through their fundraising endeavors.
We look forward to collaborating with them in the near future.
2023
This year Errigal is proud to continue their fundraising efforts in support of Ataxia Foundation Ireland. At the start of 2023, six members of the Errigal team volunteered to take on one of the toughest endurance cycle challenges in Ireland, The Donegal Ultra 555 https://www.donegalultra555.com. The team has been training hard since the new year to take part in the 555km Wild Atlantic Way cycle which takes place on Friday 11th August 2023. A live tracker will be available to track the progress of the team as they battle their way through the rugged but beautiful terrain of Donegal.
In true Errigal spirit, the team organised and held a fundraising event at their head office in Co. Monaghan on Friday 28th July, with a few familiar faces from the GAA circle and previous Donegal 555 winners in attendance. There was a lot of cheer and fun on the day in support of the team of cyclists and Ataxia Foundation Ireland.

Errigal Golf Day 2023

On Thursday 31st August Errigal hosted their inaugural Charity Golf Day in aid of ourselves and Air Ambulance Northern Ireland, raising a tremendous amount of money. The event was held in Lough Erne Resort, Enniskillen with over 150 golfers teeing off on the iconic Faldo course, enjoying a superb day of golf. We are extremely grateful to Errigal for their continued support in raising funds and awareness for Ataxia Foundation Ireland. |
2024
This year 3 teams from Errigal took on the Donegal 333 challenge to raise awareness and funds for us and Air Ambulance Northern Ireland. Getting into the summer spirit they held a very successful Olympic-themed fundraising event at their head office in Monaghan.
